Whether to celebrate a special occasion, gift to someone meaningful, or add a personal touch to your home, Safiyyah offers bespoke oil paintings of landscapes, gardens, and florals. (wedding bouquets are always popular)

Each commission is created as a lasting keepsake, a way to make time stand still and keep feelings and memories preserved.

Please note: By commissioning a painting, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.

Commission Process
Inquiry: You (henceforth known as The Client) may contact Safiyyah (hereafter known as The Artist) via The Artist’s website submission form to discuss their commission. The Client is responsible for providing any reference images — one at the time of submission and any further ones in the follow up email consultation — and any specific flowers or landscape images or elements The Client would like included.

Email Consultation: The Artist will follow up via email to confirm the style, size, and any customisations The Client prefers. The final design will be based on this conversation and The Artist’s interpretation of the images.

Pricing & Payment
Pricing: Prices will vary based on the size, complexity, and medium of the painting. A price quote will be provided after our initial consultation. Full payment is required upfront to secure your commission. 50% of this amount is non refundable one the painting process begins. In a rare event that I am unable to complete the commission you will receive a 50% refund. If you choose to cancel after work has begun, the non refundable portion covers the time and materials already invested.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made through the website.

Timeline & Delays
The timeframe for completion will vary upon the size and complexity of the commission. This will be discussed and confirmed before the commission begins.

*Please note there is a minimum 6 week lead time on all commissions.

Delays: Should there be any delays in completing the commission due to, but not limited to, unforeseen circumstances, material shortages, or random acts of God, The Artist will notify The Client as soon as possible.

Revisions & Approval
The Artist will send photos of the completed painting to The Client for final approval before delivery. Any requests for changes after this stage may incur extra fees.

Shipping & Delivery
Shipping: The Artist offers domestic and international shipping options via UPS, FedEx and DHL All shipping costs are the responsibility of The Client unless otherwise agreed upon.

Packaging: While The Artist takes every care to ensure paintings are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit, The Artist does not accept responsibility for any damage or misuse that may occur once the package has been handed over to the carrier.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations: Once The Artist has started painting the commission, if you choose to cancel you will receive 50% of your refund.

Refunds: Due to the personalized nature of commission work, no refunds will be given once the artwork has been completed and approved by The Client.

Use of Artwork
Artist Rights: The Artist retains the copyright to the commissioned work, including the right to display the artwork in portfolios, online galleries, social media, or exhibitions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Client Rights: The Client receives the original artwork for personal use only. The Client may not reproduce, distribute, or use the artwork for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Privacy & Data Protection
The Artist confirms that The Client’s personal information, including contact details and shipping information, will only be used for communication and the fulfillment of The Client’s commission and will not be shared with third parties without The Client’s consent.

Agreement
By commissioning a floral painting, The Client has agreed to the terms and conditions outlined above. The Artist reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any updates that may affect their ongoing commissions.
