Iris flower workshop
Iris flower is Newnham college’s flower and when I was asked to do a workshop for them I was honoured as it is also my favourite flower to paint. Newnham College gardens are known for their beautiful Iris variaties and it was such a pleasure painting from the freshly cut Iris flowers. I talked them through a handful of techniques and it was so lovely to see them applying their skills in a loose and expressive way.
